Highlander Mountain House Hotel - Highlands

wonderful low-budget hotel in wonderful and ideal location close to everything. location near the center, all the restaurants and shops in highland and franklin for lunch. for shots visit bridge at mill creek, nestled within 5 minutes' walk of the venue.

The rooms with balconies. Delicious and wonderful breakfast with cheese, bacon, broccoli. The staff - efficient and excellent.

I adored the charming decor and cute ambiance of Highlander Mountain House. The common areas were easily accessible, and I appreciated the cozy outdoor seating for relaxation with lovely views of the surrounding nature.

More comfortable seating options would be appreciated.

We had a lovely stay with cozy vibes in our Bunkhouse Standard Queen Balcony, and the breakfast was awesome every morning! It's nice that there are cozy lounge areas to relax and unwind after a day out. I wish our room had a bit more charm like the ones in the photos, but overall, it was a great experience 😊

The Main Street Inn was charming and offered a lovely breakfast, but the parking situation was a hassle, and the lounge felt overcrowded. The staff was friendly, and the room was comfortable, although a little cramped for two adults. It was a nice experience with room for improvement.

Charming Stay with Amazing Outdoor Access

My partner and I enjoyed our 2-night stay, especially the close proximity to fine nature trails and waterfalls. The staff were cute. Unwind with a meal outdoors-just be prepared for slower service. For a more intimate experience, request a room in the main house.

Our room had a flat-screen TV and comfy linens, making it cozy for a night in after trekking. the private bathroom with a clawfoot tub was a luxurious touch, perfect for unwinding.

The room had cathedral ceilings, which felt a bit cold and echoey for my taste.

Great location but noisy rooms

I appreciated the charming character of the hotel and its central location. Our stay was marred by excessive noise, particularly from other guests and street traffic, hard to relax.

Just spent 2 nights in the bunkhouse. loved the cozy bar atmosphere and delicious lobster bisque! Only downside was the bathroom size—super cramped. Would definitely return!

Couples looking for a cozy getaway

I gotta say the atmosphere was just perfect and the warm cozy bar made for a nice setting the first night so we could relax after a long drive and the breakfast served was homemade bread like something out of a dream
